| | | The Open Indoor Championships. | Single and double Portsmouths in November at Fleming Park, Eastleigh. |
Club members are expected to give assistance with the tournament the day before as well as
on the day.
Many other clubs hold tournaments throughout the year, you can find out about these either through the
Match Secretary, the club magazine or on
the Club notice board.
Tournaments are generally held on Sundays - the outdoor season runs from spring until autumn after
that the indoor season begins with the club shooting indoors.
Most tournaments last all day allowing for shooting, raffle and presentation of awards. It is
polite to stay for the prize giving.
Dress regulations apply, you will be expected to wear all white, bottle green or a combination of
green and white. Before the shoot you will usually receive a target list that tells you the target
number on which you will be shooting and who you will be shooting with. You should try to arrive
well before assembly time to allow time to set up your equipment. You will need to book in
on arrival.
Entry Forms
Entry forms for our tournaments can be obtained from the
Tournament Organiser (except the Longbow
tournaments which are organised separately) or are available from this website as Adobe Acrobat "PDF" files:
Target lists
The target list showing who is shooting on which target is normally finalised and available on the
day, but a provisional version may be available here:
